What You Will Need
HOW TO CONFIGURE RezNet
FOR 1 COMPUTEREach computer will need an Ethernet network card installed, most modern computers have this installed on the motherboard. Plug your cat-5 cable directly into the network jack and into your computer. Open up your web browser, Internet Explorer or recommended Firefox. This should bring you to the "Rez-Net Welcome" page. Complete the step by step guide on this page. Once you have completed all of the steps you are finished and may now begin using the Cisco Clean Access system.
FOR 2 OR MORE COMPUTERSYou will need a hub or switch, and at least three standard cat-5 cables. One cable will be used for the uplink from the switch or hub to the Ethernet jack in your room, and one cable will go from the hub or switch to each computer. Instructions for configuring your hub or switch should be included in its packaging. Switches are obtainable via the "Rez-Net Welcome" page from Network Engineering.
